The exhibition *Fontes sobre a Vigília do Farol* brings together a collection of paintings and drawings that explore the human condition through an iconography of hybrid figures, somewhere between the human and the fantastic. Boats, wings, columns, mountains, candles, and archaeological monuments also appear in compositions that evoke both the collective memory of civilizations and the intimate experience of individual crossing. Fragments of landscapes and remnants of past worlds emerge as traces of a larger narrative: that of existence in motion.
